I was introduced to the Enneagram in 2012 as part of my Clinical Practical Education for Chaplains training. When Elaine invited me to take Enneagram and the Coach, I jumped at the opportunity. I wanted to know how it could help me both as a Coach and as a Chaplain.

As I studied the Enneagram in this course, I learned more about myself. Even more interesting, was watching others grow and learn as they attempted to type themselves. I finally began to understand and see the patterns that are a core part of the Enneagram. I began to understand how motivation affects our mindset and our behaviors. I also gained a heightened awareness of my own patterns and limiting beliefs. This awareness gave me more ability to make new choices in the moment. It made me much more coachable, and therefore, my coaching sessions much more effective.

Using the tools and information I gained, I have begun introducing my coaching clients to the Enneagram. It is being well received and people are finding it helpful to be able to separate their true essence from the pattern they are displaying. I also used my learning to create a chart for helping our hospice clinicians recognize patterns and identify ways that will be useful to address those patterns in caregivers and patients experiencing anticipatory grief. This tool was well received by the clinicians and they have shown an interest in learning more.

One final story… I was working with one client who was dealing with anticipatory grief. I acknowledged their pattern and they felt totally seen and heard. Next, I normalized the pattern and affirmed who they are. Finally. I provided a tool to help manage that pattern. The next session, the client said that they were “no longer a mess.” The client had increased their sleep and self-care, and found themselves calm and drama free.

I’m truly grateful to have such a great tool for both coaching and counseling.

I tried learning about the Enneagram through several video courses and books. My experience was dismal and my learning process was meandering.

Elaine’s vibrancy and sense of humor makes stepping into learning an enjoyable process. The format structure and pacing kept drawing me in and so I stayed focused throughout. I appreciably augmented and enhanced my understanding in a manner I have enjoyed.

My experience in The Enneagram and the Coach has had a positively PROFOUND effect on me. I can appear to be easier going than I am. Actually, I have a tendency to be quite hard on myself. My personal growth has been immense.

Learning this system has laid the foundation for me to be an observer of my patterns rather than a tyrant with myself. It has also given me the ability to step back and OBSERVE another person’s behaviors and not take all so personally. This is quite useful in family situations as well as professional settings when I am marketing, setting up, and delivering my offerings.

Additionally, I am able to have fun and laugh more when I am a participant as well as observer in these settings.

I now have the ability to become an observer of my own patterns of interactions as well as those of others. Keeps me on a more even keel. I am no longer grasping at the Enneagram, I am becoming grounded in understanding.

I recently completed Elaine’s 10-week Certification program: The Enneagram and the Coach. This program surpassed my expectations as it is packed with a vast amount of content on the enneagram inclusive of multiple tools that I have already put into use in my business as well as my personal life! Gaining this knowledge has been an experience of awakening for me where I finally found the “key” to unlocking what makes me tick, i.e., the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. My enneagram learnings have improved my coaching abilities as it helped me better understand my client’s patterns and provided me with specific coaching observation tips to better coach them. On a personal level, my family has benefitted in their own personal growth as I shared my learnings these past 10 weeks. My family now speaks “enneagram” 😊.

The enneagram has so much wisdom and there is a lot to learn. Elaine has packaged the information in a way that easily builds your knowledge as you create your own Enneagram Manual from her teachings and materials. Throughout the entire course, Elaine was extremely supportive of our cohort. She was always available for questions via email and would go deeper with you, 1-on-1, during her Office Hours where you could ask specific questions about your own enneagram journey, e.g., how to work through your patterns, uncovering your enneatype if you did not know it, brainstorming on how you could integrate the enneagram into your business, etc.

Elaine is a “Brilliant” Coach as her company name states! She is extremely knowledgeable in the enneagram and in general is a fantastic coach and a good soul. I would highly recommend her certification program The Enneagram and the Coach course as well as her as a Transformation Coach!

I joined the Enneagram and the Coach program based on experience both with Elaine’s coaching and the Enneagram. The Enneagram is a comprehensive framework for describing personality traits and is very helpful in understanding and working with other humans.

One of the gems from this program is the link between learning about the Enneagram and actually applying it! This application is so often missing from educational programs. Elaine actually provides a coaching notebook.

I found the information about how people move to other numbers’ traits when stressed or functioning optimally, and the physical and behavioral presentations of various enneatypes to be most interesting.

I also figured out why my husband acts in certain ways and I have so much more compassion for him. I can see where this knowledge might be very helpful in relationships. I use this information as an addition to my assessment process which informs planning and delivery of coaching services.

Elaine also makes herself available in a high touch way through office hours, a call and quick response to emails, which is an outstanding value.

When I heard that Elaine was offering an Enneagram program especially for Coaches, my response was “Yes!” and I registered immediately. Because Elaine is known for her expertise in the Enneagram, I was excited to take advantage of the knowledge she would share in this ten-week course.

This course met, and exceeded, my expectations. I came away with a deeper, richer understanding of the Enneagram as a whole and each of the nine Enneatypes in particular. Elaine fleshed out each Type in great detail and the case studies she provided solidified the learning.

There’s so much I love about this program, things like her live weekly presentations of content information, detailed note-taking sheets provided for each Type, actual case studies with small group discussions, note-taking sheets provided to record coaching information for each Type, materials and guidance to create our own Enneagram Coaching Manual of information and resources, recorded lessons that can be reviewed as desired for our extended learning, weekly office hours to address questions and provide clarification, weekly assessments to solidify our weekly understanding, a ‘Wrap up Session’ that brought all nine Types together and provided a big picture of the Enneagram, and last but not least, a mystery panel of guests who provided information and insight into their Enneatypes through a fun question and answer session.

This course has been a pivotal experience in expanding my understanding of the Enneagram, with its wings, sub-types, levels of development, and differing needs for approaches in coaching the nine Enneatypes. As an added bonus, the course deepened my understanding of my own Enneatype and made a huge impact on my self-awareness.

I was looking for a coach to work with to help me set up my own business while continuing with my job (as a research scientist at a University). I wanted to work with someone who would support me on a personal level, helping me overcoming difficulties in my current work and life.

I was recommended to work with Elaine, and fell in love with her from the first coaching call. I went through a 3-months and then a 6-months private coaching program with her. During that time I have started my own private coaching practice, started to give live and virtual presentations, created and offered a course to groups of people through Universities, and filled completely my part-time practice having people on a waiting list.

Hey, everyone! Ask a question – Elaine can absolutely get to the bottom of whatever mess or confusion or worry or challenge or fear you are experiencing in your business, at any level. Her answers are always so helpful! (Or, as we say in New England, “WICKED AWESOME!”)

Elaine is an excellent coach that I highly recommend. I’ve had a number of coaching sessions with Elaine over the past year and she is able to combine her business experience and theoretical knowledge into her coaching techniques.

Elaine is an exceptional facilitator and coach. Able to read the room with the ability to flex her style and approach to deliver excellent results.

I first met Elaine on the Maximise Your Potential programme – First and foremost Elaine is a fantastic, genuine, likeable person who takes and makes the time to get to know you as a person; she is genuinely interested in you and what you want to get out of the coaching sessions.
